Reid Thomas earned the title of Trainer Bowl II Champion on Monday night and
on Wednesday, he became a local celebrity in his home town of Corpus Christi, Texas. KRIS-TV, the NBC television station, sent a camera crew to interview Thomas and aired a piece on their 10 o’clock news. Thomas raised over $45,000 for the Glenoak Therapeutic Riding Center which provides therapy and rehabilitation for children and adults with physical and mental disabilities.
“It was an honor to have the television station out here to help publicize the great things that the Glenoak Therapeutic Riding Center is doing,” said Thomas. “The money we raised through the Trainer Bowl will pay for 60 students to take weekly classes for a year which is just outstanding.”
