Exhibitors at the 2018 Built Ford Tough AQHYA World Championship Show have shined their boots and dusted off their hats for the first day of competition at State Fair Park in Oklahoma City. More than 3,500 entries from the United States, Canada, Costa Rica, Denmark and Luxembourg are competing for 42 world championship titles at this year’s show. For the first time in Ford Youth World history, our youngest competitors will also be vying for world champion honors in seven core 13-&-Under classes.
Several AQHYA World Champions have been named already including Cooper Dobbs and MyTeSly who were winners in the Performance Halter Geldings. This win is this team’s third year in a row to come away with the golden globe. Savannah Hauer won the Performance Halter Mares with her mare, Natural Order. Erin Mask took home the gold in the Aged Mares with her mare, Sheza Te Coolest Kid while Trent Searles was the unanimous champion in the Yearling Mares with Shes That Radiant. Another big winner included Maggie Carter and Coos Me In The Dark who won the Aged Geldings and brought home the golden globe.
Check back often as we will be updating and posting all the winning runs each day all in one place. The winning run links include video interviews that AQHA puts together featuring the winner of each class.
