The AQHYA World Championship Show runs through Saturday, August 12th in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The event has brought together youth exhibitors of the American Quarter Horse from around the world for nine days of tough competition. More than 3,340 entries from the United States, Canada, Costa Rica and Luxembourg compete for 35 world championship titles at this year’s show.
Professional photographer, Kirstie Marie Jones of Kirstie Marie Photography was at the 2017 AQHYA World Championship Show to capture many of these unbelievable moments for GoHorseShow. Kirstie’s extensive horse knowledge and talent make her one of the most sought after photographers in our industry. She has provided us with a beautiful gallery of pictures from a variety of different events at the show as well as a recap video. We would like to thank her for all her hard work. Kirstie did all of this while seven months pregnant with the help of her husband, Jake Jones, which makes it even more amazing.
