It is billed as “not just another horse show” and the Texas Classic held in Ft. Worth definitely lived up to the billing. With over 10,000 AQHA entries (not counting the very popular NRHA, NCHA or NRCHA classes), the new 3-judge schedule really benefited the show as well as the exhibitors.
“The entire schedule was amazing,” said all-around trainer, Robin Frid.” AQHA really needs to look hard at this style of show. There were minimal late nights and the halter people were very happy. The exhibitors as a whole were extatic.”
One special event held this year was the inaugural Bobbi Pullin Memorial Horsemanship class. The special class was open to both Amateur and Youth exhibitors and was judged by Brad Jewett. Tiina Volmer won a beautiful Marita McMillian bronze box.
GoHorseShow.com would like to thank Mycah McColm, Heather Harkey, and Megan Machesky for their contributions to the candids. They captured the horse show from three different perspectives. Thank you ladies!
