“God was watching over us today while we were heading home from Houston. We are okay,” Don and Debbie Trout posted on their Facebook page right after the accident.
Don Trout is a well known equine photographer. The couple was involved in a serious multi-vehicle accident on I-45 near Corsicana, Texas.
“We were stopped in construction when a semi behind us did not stop and rear ended us,” the couple told us. “Everything is totaled but we are both okay for now.”

Emergency crews responded to multi-vehicle accident involving an 18-wheeler Monday on south I45 in Angus.
At least two care flights are transporting patients to Baylor and Parkland Hospitals in Dallas.
A wrecker service has been called to haul away an 18 wheeler, one burned vehicle, three passenger cars and a box trailer. None of the vehicles are drivable. Expect long delays if you are traveling south on I45 from Corsicana.
While responders were still on the scene, another accident was reported at the northbound I45 rest stop near Richland.
