Trailer World in the Centennial Building will feature 10 trailer companies displaying the latest in horse trailer models.
Open daily on the concourse, the Kidz Corral is a place for kids of all ages to have some fun. Specializing in activities for the young and young at heart, the Kidz Corral includes a make it/take it craft area, coloring mural and kids play area.
The SmartPak Sports Zone is a special area on the concourse to wet your whistle and rest your feet while keeping up with the show and the latest sporting events. The SmartPak Sports Zone is open Monday through Thursday from 4 to 9 p.m. and Friday through Sunday, noon to 9 p.m. for the comfort and relaxation of show exhibitors, spectators and guests. Sports fans can find their favorite college and NFL games on three TVs. A full bar with daily drink specials will be offered and snacks are available for purchase.
The show will once again offer opportunities for exhibitors competing in the arena. Two Level 1 open stakes classes have been added as ancillary classes to this year’s Lucas Oil World schedule.
A $5,000-added Level 1 hunter under saddle class, sponsored by Highpoint Performance Horses of Pilot Point, Texas, and Hot Ones Only, will be offered on Saturday, November 14; and a $5,000-added Level 1 western pleasure class, sponsored by Kristen Galyean of Claremore, Oklahoma, VS Flatline and VS Code Red, is slated for Sunday, November 15.
Both classes will be held in the Performance Arena. The deadline to enter either stakes class is 5 p.m. the night before each class, and the cost to enter is $250 each, with 75 percent of entry fees (plus added money) as payout. Entry forms are available in the Competitor Resources section of www.aqha.com/worldshow.
In addition to the Level 1 stakes classes, the World Conformation Horse Association is offering two WCHA owner-breeder-exhibitor conformation halter classes at the Lucas Oil World this year. The winners of these classes will be recognized as WCHA world champions. The two classes offered are OBE weanling geldings and colts on Thursday, November 19, and OBE weanling fillies on Friday, November 20.
