FORT WORTH, Texas – TCU Director of Equestrian Haley Schoolfield announced the signing of Jenna Jacobs Monday afternoon.
“We are very pleased to add Jenna to our team,” said Schoolfield. “Her strong academic and athletic background make her a great fit for TCU. We are looking forward to her making an impact on our team.”
Jacobs, who hails from Ohio, will don the Purple and White next season after claiming the 2014 AQHA Youth Hunter Under Saddle High-Point Year End award. A fourth-place finisher at the 2014 AQHYA World Show, Jacobs claimed two Reserve Champion accolades at the 2014 All-American Quarter Horse Congress, marking the third-straight year in which she has recorded Reserve Championship honors and a top-three placing at Congress.
Jacobs, a three-time NSBA World Champion, finished second in the nation in AQHA Youth Hunter Under Saddle, while also being crowned a two-time Grand Champion at the All-American Youth Horse Show in 2012. She has helped guide the River Cities Quarter Horse Association to first-place honors at the National Youth Activity Team Tournament at Congress the last three years.
