Let “Show for Dough” Show You the Money in 2015

The third annual Show For Dough NSBA event will be held May 13-17, 2015 in Tunica, MS. This show’s motto of “All Money, All The Time” features 100% payback of entry fees in every class.

“What makes our horse show stand alone is our one hundred percent payback policy,” says Brad Jewett, who along with David Dellin and Charles Cannizzaro are the three founders of the show. “In other words, one hundred percent of your entry fee goes back into the purse–that goes for the all around events as well.”

This includes payout in Horsemanship, Showmanship, Equitation, Trail, Western Riding, Western Pleasure, Hunter Under Saddle, and Ranch Riding. All levels of riders are encouraged to come show in Novice and Limited divisions offered in all disciplines.

“We are very blessed to have a staff that sees our vision and wants to see this show be successful. I can’t thank them enough. We feel if we do an honest job, people will get behind it and support it. In that same vein, it’s our hopes that people come, enjoy the competition and honestly leave with more money than they came with,” Jewett says. “As an all around trainer, I’m excited about the opportunity for all around competitors to come and compete for cash. For years, we’ve seen the pleasure and hunter under saddle competitors have the chance to earn money–with the NSBA offering non pro all around classes, we feel our show is going to be a fun change of pace from the all around grind.”

A feature event that will be returning this year is a $10,000 added 3 year old $2,500 Limited Horse Western Pleasure class. Show management is excited to introduce the Green Horseman’s Challenge with guaranteed $10,000 in added money.

Checks will be paid out at the show, in every class. “Transparency is very important to us,” Jewett states. “We just wanted to create a show where when the exhibitor walks out of the pen, win or lose, they can understand that the money paid out is the money that was paid in. Office fees, sponsors and stalls is where we will pay our judges, course designers, and staff.”

Last year, over $84,000 was paid out in five days, not to mention all of the amazing prizes that were given away–three Kathy Williams Tails, two $1,000 gift certificates to Blue Ribbon Custom Tack, one Blue Ribbon work saddle, 15 Cinch Vouchers, two night free stay at the Plantation Suites in Port Arkansas, TX, and NSBA Medals and GoMag certificates were all given out throughout the show.

While, Charles Cannizzaro is no longer a business partner with Jewett and Dellin due to him focusing on his training operation, he and his wife Angie are very supportive of the concept and will plan to attend the show this year.

The judges for this year’s event include Jennifer Leckey, Tanya Green, Dean Bogart, Jonathan Meilleur, Brad Kearns, and Will Knabenshue.

“The entries are pouring in,” Dellin told GoHorseShow. “We are very excited to have more added money this year as well as new disciplines like Ranch Riding. We appreciate everyone’s support and encouragement in this endeavor.”

Entry deadlines are April 15, 2015 for the deepest discounts on entry fees. Please visit www.showfordough.com for all the entry and stalling information.
