American Roan Horse Association Announces Exciting New Changes

The American Roan Horse Association (ARHA) is excited to announce that, “We are growing! 2015 has brought us some new fun changes for our association, and the response has been great,” says Lori Watkins, ARHA President. “First off, we have a new easy to use website. You can register your horse, renew your membership, print forms and keep up to date with new shows and stay connected.”

This year ARHA will be offering a chance to compete for ARHA High Point and Reserve High Point Horse of the Year awards. Co-approved shows will be announced on their calendars page. Many of these shows also have added money available to ARHA members. Points will be tallied on November 31st. Complete rules and points schedule will be available under the “showing” tab on their website.

Beautiful Dale Chavez High Point and Reserve High Point buckles are in the works. “The buckles will be posted as soon as they are completed. They do great work, and we know they are going to be amazing,” Watkins states.

The Fast Fifty Incentive program continues to be a big success. Who doesn’t like to win cash? “We love being able to give back to our members. Our Fast Fifty Incentive Fund has been going strong since 2011,” Watkins says. “So far, it’s been the best deal in the horse industry.”

New in 2016–everyone participating in the program will have to pay in an annual renewal fee of $50.00.

“We want to keep this payback going, and rewarding our members with a chance to win some fast cash, while continuing to grow the association. It’s still the best deal going,” Watkins adds. “We are so proud of our ARHA members. We want to celebrate with you and showcase your great roan horses. Send us your win pictures and we will post them on our ‘In the spotlight’ page. We can’t wait to see what the rest of 2015 brings!”

ARHA has a new email address: ARHA@ridearoan.com and phone number, 260-316-2402.
