The highly popular Florida Gold Coast Quarter Horse Show recently wrapped up at the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa, Florida. The judges for the Gold Coast were Robin Frid, Karen Watters, Brian Ellsworth, Verlin Potts, Chris Jeter, and David Avery. The judges for the Gulf Coast were Randy Alderson, Jeff Allen, Larry Hansch, Scott Neuman, Nancy Sue Ryan, and Stephen Stephens.
“Overall the horse show had great weather with only one rainy day!” says Morgan Parisek, who won the Amateur All-Around at the show. “Everything ran smoothly with sunshine and palm trees. The prizes were awesome with lots to choose from such as sweat shirts, polos, and Wahna Win coat conditioner.”
“Tim Kimura gave an awesome trail clinic, and there were people here all the way from Canada, Southern Indiana Illinois and Texas. The weather was a perfect 80 degrees and sunny almost everyday,” says Micah Howard, who shows in the amateur classes with his horse, Maxed Out Potential, under the supervision of Ryan Cottingim.
