The National Collegiate Equestrian Association announced its first team rankings of the spring 2015 semester February 3, as determined by the NCEA Selection Committee.
First NCEA Team Rankings of Spring Semester
Baylor University, which opened the spring season Thursday with a win against New Mexico State University, remains at No. 1. TCU, which was idle this past week, is No. 2. The University of South Carolina (No. 3) and Auburn University (No. 4) each earned victories against SMU this past week. The University of Georgia moves up to No. 5 after victories against University of Tennessee-Martin and Kansas State University at Martin, Tennessee. Texas A&M notched home victories against Delaware State and New Mexico State and moves up to No. 6. Fresno State remains at No. 7, while SMU, which suffered a pair of defeats to top-five foes this past weekend, is No. 8. Kansas State checks in at No. 9, while New Mexico State is No. 10.
