The Reichert Celebration has evolved into quite an event over the last 10 years. What started as the brainchild of JR Reichert in Iowa in 1998 is now a huge event that runs smoothly with the help and coordination of an enormous staff of individuals. There’s a little something for everyone (including Anyone Can Win, Adult Walk Trot and Pony Pleasure) and the fun seems to never end as every day is topped off with an amazing evening performance complete with laser light shows, fireworks, formal dinners for owners and a plethora of prizes.
There’s nothing quite like the Reichert Celebration. It truly is the Super Bowl week equivalent to horse shows. It is a well-oiled machine where the overall quality of the horses is amazing and each year the spectacle gets better and more over the top than the last. If you’ve never been to the Reichert Celebration, we strongly recommend that you put it on your “things to do in the near future” list.
