It’s World Show time! For the first time in history, the AQHA World Championship show and the APHA World Championship show are being held at the the same time.
The innaugural APHA Fall Championship show, held in Ft. Worth, runs November 6-15, and the AQHA World Championship show runs November 7-22 in Oklahoma City.
For two weeks in November, the world’s best American Quarter Horses meet in Oklahoma City for the chance to become a world champion and a share of more than $2.7 million in cash and awards. From halter to reining and jumping to trail, the Bank of America Amateur and FedEx Open AQHA World Championship Show is the event for those who love and appreciate the athletic ability and beauty of the American Quarter Horse.

APHA’s newest show will feature new added-money and jackpot classes, slot classes, select Challenge and Sweepstakes classes and World Championship title classes for weanling and yearling halter, yearling longe line and 2-year-old performance horses. The new format will allow a longer period of time for young horses to mature in order to compete on a world-class level.
