WORLD CHAMPION – JUNIOR WESTERN PLEASURE

In November 2005, Lee Reeve of Garden City, Kansas, saw A Certain Vino at the AQHA World Championship Show, winning a reserve world championship in 2-year-old snaffle bit western pleasure for his owners, Tim and Lou Petty. Shortly after that, Lee’s name was the one on “Vino’s” papers – and it has been a fruitful partnership. Last year, with trainer AQHA Professional Horseman Karen Hornick of Jamestown, Ohio, Vino won a world championship in junior western pleasure. He also brought home a gold trophy for Lee’s daughter, Darcy, in western pleasure at the 2008 Ford AQHYA World Championship Show. And November 19, he won his third world championship, again in junior western pleasure. It was a unanimous decision under all five judges.
