A great horse, concentration and the company of “Cracky” the good lucky ceramic squirrel are the three things that Jessica Johnson says it takes to win the world title in amateur hunt seat equitation at the 2009 AQHA World Championship Show. With a total of 16 competitors in the finals class, Jessica and her equine partner of nine years had their work cut out for them to stay correct. With hunt seat eq behind them, Jessica and “Bentley” are taking a run at the all-around amateur title this week. So will Cracky add another notch to his gold-trophy count? Stay tuned to find out!
