Josh Weakly came into the 2009 AQHA World Championship Show this week with eight halter horses to show. On November 11, he placed third in aged geldings while on November 12 he took third in weanling geldings as well as yearling stallions. However, Josh had his highest hopes for Night Tripz, a weanling he purchased in August. The attractive baby was the reserve champion at the 2009 All American Quarter Horse Congress Masters Halter class. On November 12, in a class of 18, Josh’s hopes were realized when he led Night Tripz forward to receive the golden world trophy from Executive Committee member Peter J. Cofrancesco III.
