Kathryn Allysn Jackson has been showing American Quarter Horses for more than 25 years but it wasn’t until November 13 that she finally won an amateur world championship title. Leading STKS Coolest, a horse bred and shown to a world championship in 2008 by Rita Crundwell, Kathryn was shaking with excitement as AQHA President Jim Helzer handed her the gold trophy. As Kathryn walked the big gelding back to the make-up pen, Rita gave her a big hug and congratulated her on the win.
