Extremely Hot Chips First Babies on Ground

GoHorseShow.com is excited to report that Extremely Hot Chips‘s first babies are on the ground!

This 2006 chestnut stallion by NSBA Hall of fame inductee, Blazing Hot, out of Miss Trophy Chip was bred by leading trainer, Carl Yamber, and is now currently owned by Cheryl Mullikin of Xenia, Ohio. Chip has won over $70,000 in all time futurity earnings and was the 2010 High Point Pleasure stallion in the nation. He has also placed Top 5 in the Junior Western Pleasure at the World Show twice as well as being the 2009 Congress Champion in the 3 Year Old Non-Pro Limited Western Pleasure and Reserve Champion in the 3 Year Old Open Western Pleasure.

With his pedigree, success in the show ring, and the top trainers involved with this stallion, there is a great chance this stallion will be a success in the breeding arena as well. His first babies are already showing promise of him becoming one of the top pleasure sires in the industry.

“I have seen at least eight of his foals so far, either in person or by pictures and are very excited with all of them,” says Cheryl Mullikin, owner of Extremely Hot Chips. “There are at least five bays, three sorrels and one Palomino. The hard part now is waiting a couple of years to see how they do!”

Mullikin says she is very pleased about the early inquiries about breeding to her stallion this year, and she is looking forward to having a very successful breeding season the rest of the year.

Chip, or “Studly” as some of his admirers call him stands at Pilot Knob Quarter Horses, for more information view his website here or contact Mike Hay of Pilot Knob Quarter Horses for more info. Check out some of his babies below!
