Atlanta, GA – September 5, 2011 – As an Amateur Exhibitor, Kirsten Farris had first hand experience when it came to submitting horse show entries. Tired of handwriting forms with redundant information, she searched for an online entry system for Quarter Horse shows, and realized that one did not exist. With a background in technology, she created QHShowentries.com specifically for American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) Shows.
“I felt there was a real need for an easy to use system to create entries” Farris remarked. “There are over 2200 AQHA Shows with 800,000 entries each year, and while each show entry form is a bit different, the information required by AQHA is the same.” She continued, “Even if a show did offer online pre-registration, I would have to input the information each time I entered, which wasn’t that much of a time saver. QH Showentries system securely stores all of the horse, rider and owner information necessary to enter a show. When an exhibitor needs to create an entry, they log into their account, choose their show, horses, riders and classes from a dropdown menu, and with a click of a mouse, a complete entry form in PDF format is created and can be emailed or printed, signed and mailed to the show secretary.”
“We have tested the system with exhibitors and show managers and the response has been very positive. Exhibitors like the fact the system is easy to use, and the show managers appreciate receiving an entry form that is easy to read and accurate.” Farris adds, ”Because we have the ability to mirror a particular show’s entry form, there is nothing that a show manager needs to do in order to accept an entry created from QHShowentries.”
QHShowentries is offering a 90 day free trial for horse show participants. You can sign up at www.qhshowentries.com.
If you do not see the show that you would like to enter on the list, let Kirsten know and she can contact the show secretary to see if they will accept emailed entries.
If you are interested in having your show entry form listed on the site, please contact Kirsten Farris at [email protected] for details.
