The American Quarter Horse Association will partner with the Southern Belle Invitation to run Southern Belle Breeders Program classes concurrently with the appropriate 2011 AQHA World Championship Show classes.
To compete in a Southern Belle Breeders class at the AQHA World Show, a horse must first qualify for that specific AQHA World Show class. The horse must also be enrolled in the Arkansas-based Southern Belle Breeders Program. In addition to their normal World Show entry fee, participants in the Southern Belle Breeders classes paid a separate entry fee. The class entry fees will be used to generate the purse money for the Southern Belle Breeders classes.
This partnership offers eligible horses the chance to win additional trophies and ribbons. The Southern Belle Breeders Program will provide trophies to the eligible champion and reserve champion of each of the Southern Belle Breeders classes, and eligible finalists in each of the classes will receive Southern Belle Breeders ribbons.
