Joe and Suzy Jeane’s Down the Rail Performance Prospects of Valley View, Texas is having a herd reduction sale featuring eighteen of their horses in the AQHA World Championship Sale. The sale is being held, Friday, November 18th at the Oklahoma City State Fairgrounds.
The highlight of their sale horses is 2004 World Champion Senior Western Riding stallion, Dress Western. “Buster” is a 1997 bay stallion by Invitation Only and out of Fannie Mae Flash. He is a sire of two World Champions, and two Reserve World Champions. In 2002, Buster was the Junior High Point Western Riding horse in the nation. His offspring have accumulated over 6,100 points, 28 Superiors, and 66 ROMs. The stallion is currently owned by Robert Myers of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
“Dress Western’s owner has decided to retire from the horse business,” trainer Suzy Jeane tells GoHorseShow. “This stallion is highly underrated, and I fully stand behind his babies. They remind me of starting the Zippos back in the day,” she says. “They are very pretty, have a great top line and strong self-carriage as well as have a lot of size and good bone structure.”
Jeane adds,” I’m really sad that he is going to be sold, but he needs to be promoted by someone who has the time and desire to get his name out there.”
In addition to Dress Western, there will be four yearlings by the stallion that will be in the sale—one stallion, one gelding, and two fillies. “They have all been started and potential buyers will be able to watch them being ridden at the sale,” Jeane says. “They are all great-minded and real sweethearts.”
