TQHA’s Novice program is geared to help the beginning rider in their quest for greatness in the show arena. In addition to our Affiliates’ Introductory Shows, we host novice clinics every year, and we host our All Novice Invitational, the Champion of Champions each year.

Exhibitors qualify for the Champion of Champions by placing 1st, 2nd, or 3rd at any TQHA approved Affiliate show. Qualifying dates are April 1 – March 31 each year. Exhibitors must hold Novice Status with AQHA as of January 1 in order to show at Champion of Champions, and they must be a member of TQHA. Qualifications are based on horse/rider combo.
