The Gordyville USA show March 22-25 was a huge success with sold-out stalls, good-sized classes, and eight judges over four days. The judges were John Lawrence, Don McDuffee, Rick Baker, Gretchen Mathes, Tanya Green, Karen Watters, Gary Roberts and Betsy Tuckey
“Thank you to all the people that came to the show this past weekend,” says Gordyville show manager Jody Quiram. “It felt like the good ole days. We processed 3,972 for the Indiana Quarter Horse Association show on Thursday and Friday and a little over 4000 for the Gordyville show– for a total of 7,972 total entries. It was great to see old friends as well as make new ones. The new growth in the industry was amazing. The judges, spectators, vendors, exhibitors were all there for the love of our American Quarter horse. Thanks so much. Thanks again to our staff: Brooke Billings, Cheryl LaMaster, Lisa Sage-Hannagan, Pat Fewell, Margy Morgan, Patty Frerichs, Mary Hannagan, Bridgette Sellers, Ashley Heinemann, Brad White, Nathan Smiley and Colt Morgan. You did an amazing job.”
Gordyville USA also would like to thank to Rita Crundwell for sponsoring their Championship Indiana/Gordyville jackets for the AQHA show. Also, a big shout out to Headley Quarter horses for sponsoring the BBQ Friday night. Great food!
“Thanks Gordyville for the great, great, show!” Novice Amateur Cheryl Ann Easley said. “My son, Dylan put 23.5 showmanship points on his horse, My Deeva, and I earned 4.5 in Novice Amateur Showmanship. I was also Circuit Champion which was huge for us. We had the best time and our new friends form Carr Quarter Horses made it even better.”
