The Circle G Classic this past weekend in Tunica, Mississippi was a huge success with over 4000 entries. There were 23 in Novice Amateur Western Pleasure and most classes were two to three pointers.
“The first-time Arkansas folks were amazed with the facility,” says Cody Fisher, who was the show manager for the show. “The youth was really big and co-sanctioning with the Arkansas Quarter Horse Association worked well and all divisions were strong. Also, the barbecue by the Kennon’s was excellent. Denny Strickland also sang during the exhibitors’ party and did a great job for us.”
Dawn Falcon of La Vernia, Texas was also super impressed with the show. “Thanks goes out to Cody Fisher and his staff for a great show in Tunica. We accumulated fifty points on three horses in two days!”
The judges for the circuit were Chris Jones, Betsy Tuckey, Lori Gordon, Bruce Walquist, Gretchen Mathes, and Brent Maxwell
Lori Gordon of Washington, Pennsylvania, said that she really enjoyed judging the show. “There were plenty of top notch horses and exhibitors to select from and the ring crew and staff were great!”
