“There are going to be fun events throughout the day as well as some guest speakers,” says AQHYA President Abigail Pait about the annual Youth Excellence Seminar (YES). “It is a life changing experience that builds friendships and skills such as public speaking, and communicating with others, that last a lifetime.”
The seminar is open to youth between the ages of 14-18, and it will be held in Amarillo, Texas on June 21-23, 2012. Registration fee: $75 for youth members and adult members. $90 for non-member youth and adults. Includes meals. Registration deadline is April 30th. AQHYA has 11 regions and each region has the opportunity to elect up to three AQHYA directors. Five AQHYA officers will be elected.
