The Lucky 7 Classic in Murfreesboro, Tennessee this past weekend was “Huge” according to many exhibitors and there was great events and fun times. Show Secretary Pat Kress said the show doubled from last year and she heard no complaints!
“It was a really great show. The classes were all good sized. They had dinners every night and a Kentucky Derby party,” hunt seat exhibitor Taylor Hanes told GoHorseShow. “They also served margaritas for Cinco De Mayo. The footing in the arenas was really nice and everyone seemed to have a really good time.”
The judges for the show were Brett Clark, Leonard Berryhill, Jeff Pait, Jill Newcomb, Karen Watters, and Doug Huls.
“Patrick Kayser was show manager and did a great job of making the show very exhibitor friendly,” Select Amateur Brister Shum said. “There was breakfast every morning and dinner every night. We even had a Kentucky Derby party with our fancy classy-lady hats! Pat Kress stayed up all night calculating results. High points awards were gorgeous McMillan bronzes. All first place class winners got lottery tickets–mine were only good for bookmarks! The facility is beautiful and I will be be back next year! Y’all come now, ya hear?”
