The Michigan Paint Horse Club hosted another successful Memorial Weekend
Bonanza Show this weekend in Mason, Michigan. This show has been a Top
10 show for APHA the past two years. This year MPHC had a brand new
split/combined POR followed by a two judge format, and a huge plus was that there were more
entries than in 2011! The club also hosted their annual Ribs & More
Potluck for all attendees; there was a baby shower for Angela Strefling
Loeffler’s “future leadliner”; and the annual Egg & Spoon Calcutta
Charity Fundraiser for St. Judes.
“With the support of so many, we were able to raise over $3,200 for St. Judes Hospital,” Vanessa Froman told GoHorseShow. “THANK YOU to the riders who participated and those that bid or donated to such a worthy cause!”
The club would also like to recognize their sponsors for the wonderful Custom sheets made by Brandt Blanket Company; Bauer & Gooding Show Horses; Chapman Horse & Livestock; Crest View Tack Shop; Gentlemen Send Roses & Invited Back ~Harnish Performance Horses; Heather Brower Show Horses; Hot Roddin Zip ~ Quarter Circle S Farm; Michigan Paint Horse Club; RT Training Stables; Sarah Johnson Show Horses; Sauder Pleasure Horses, and Invited To The Dance.
This is the perfect start to 2012–there is still one more Top 10 show to host in Michigan, the Fall Color Classic in October plus their new Labor Day Celebration in Berrien Springs, where there will be brand new TV’s awarded for high points!
