Originally conceived by cancer researcher and horse owner Dr. Mitchell Steiner, the Regen-x formula employs a unique water emulsion method to strengthen and hydrate dry, brittle and cracking hooves.
After ongoing and severe hoof cracking problems that plagued his family’s valuable show horses, Dr. Steiner was motivated to use his own research resources to determine a treatment to regenerate crumbling feet.
What he found was that the hoof structure requires a consistent balance of hydration, and that keratin tubules, like bone, need to be cross-linked with minerals to increase and maintain hoof strength.
Dr. Steiner believed that traditional approaches of oiling, sealing and drying hoof tissues to create a “healthy” hoof was not only ineffective, but also often destructive! Instead, he formulated a proprietary water emulsion formula that provides a skin safe, creamy carrier to quickly penetrate and moisturize the hoof structures.
The end result is a strong, dense, pliable, healthy hoof.
