People Attempting to Help is currently holding a second chance auction for Banks Ready that will be ending Sept 9th at
11:59 EST. This will
include items that didn’t sell the first time around, some late
donations and new donations. We have some nice items up for
bid including a breeding to RL Best Of Sudden that has a current bid of
$2500! Last auction brought in approximately $32,000!!

Philanthropist Dorie Couture runs a Facebook group called People attempting to help. Couture will be doing a Facebook auction to help raise funds for Banks Ready on August 6th through 19th, who was severely injured in a car crash. Here is info provided below from Dorie about the online auction. Please help if you can!
Our next auction will start August 6, 2012 and run through August 20, 2012 to benefit BANKS READY. Friends Helping Friends will also be hosting an auction for Banks. Banks, a very sweet young man who was former AJPHA President, with his whole life ahead of him, was involved in a horrific car accident. He is stuggling to overcome traumatic head injuries and still does not have significant brain activity. His medical bills are in excess of one million dollars. The family has asked us all to continue to pray for Banks to make a complete recovery. I can tell you, this is a tremendous individual, and any help and support we can give the family will be greatly appreciated. ANYONE with items to donate for his auction please contact myself or one of the other admins of this group. Lets knock this one out of the ball park…..no one is more deserving!!! Come on, folks…..lets make this the auction of a lifetime……….
