Two-Time World Champion Righteous Mister Passes Away

GoHorseShow is sad to report the passing of two-time World Champion halter stallion, Righteous Mister, who was owned and loved by Lonn and Kathy Smallwood of Pilot Point, Texas. The 2005 stallion was by Mr Yella Fella and out of Cool Innocence. He was the 2005 AQHA World Champions in the Amateur and Open Weanling Stallions.

Affectionately known as Wishbone, the stallion was headed to the vet for emergency colic surgery when he died less than a few blocks from the Smallwood home. This beautiful young up-and-coming sire had only nine babies on the ground–three of which were shown at the World Shows and two are now World Champions.

“An awesome legacy and a terrible loss. We will miss him deeply,” Kathy says.
