By Tracy Bidwell, OQHA

The Ohio Quarter Horse Association has released entry numbers for the 2012 All American Quarter Horse Congress, held October 5-28 at the Ohio Expo Center in Columbus, Ohio. Entries were due August 25th and preliminary numbers are now available.

The 2012 Quarter Horse Congress currently has a 9 percent increase in regular entries over 2011, with 18,268 entries, compared to 16,742 at this time last year. This number will continue to increase as Cutting and Racing entries are added, as well as late entries made during the event.

“We are ecstatic to know that this year’s All American Quarter Horse Congress is shaping up to be our largest ever,” said Dr. Scott Myers, OQHA Executive Director. “The OQHA Board of Directors is looking forward to another exceptional show.”
