The Michigan Breeder’s Futurity Show at MSU in Lansing, Michigan felt a little like a big family reunion with the opportunity to see many good friends. Michigan provided lovely fall weather and it was great to see so many quarter horse enthusiasts support the show. The judges for the show were Kim Myers, Mike Hay, Debbie Kail, Tanya Green, April Devitt, and Clint Fullerton. The slot classes were exciting to watch, and there was always a large crowd in the stands. MQHA provided a lovely exhibitors dinner on Saturday night, and the MQHYA provided some entertainment with their fundraiser….a Pie In The Face contest. Several people were “nominated” and voted for during the day, and the top five “victims” were good natured about getting their pie in the face as the crowd roared their approval. It was all in good fun, and over $800 was raised for the Michigan NYATT team.
