Congratulation to Pine View Farm stallions, Lazy Loper and Invitation Only, on siring 22 Congress Champions and Reserve Champions so far, and the show is still going on!
“The Congress has been overwhelming so far,” says Debbi Trubee who is the General Manager of Pine View Farm along with Roger Landis. “Lazy and Invy had five in the Top 15 of the Open Two Year-Old Class–which is a third of the class. Lazy also has four entered in the Masters Two Year-Old Class, and we look forward to another good showing. Wednesday, both sires combined had six Congress Championships and one Reserve, so we are amazed by the success of both stallions’ offspring so far.”
Invitation Only also had the highest selling yearling at the Congress Super Sale, Finally Got Invitd who sold for an impressive $20,500. Some of the progeny that have done well at the Congress include: Only In Showbiz who won three Congress Championships in Western Riding including the Junior, as well as two Equitation classes in addition to being named 12-14 All Around Champion; VS Flatine who won the Two Year Old Stakes and Non Pro classes; Lopin Pretty was the winner of the Two Year-Old Open Futurity with Rusty Green aboard–Only Because Im Good, One Lazy Investment, Only Ever After, Ok Shes Unzipped, Good Cuz Im Lazy, Some Kinda Lazy, Invitemeforchocolate, Commemorative Invite, Only Invite the Best, My Only Good Shoes, and Fantastic Invitation are some other horses that have also done well at the 2012 Congress.
Lazy Loper has an October breeding special where if you book before October 31st then the breeding fee is $2100 which is reduced from the normal $2500 breeding fee. Pine View Farm would also like to introduce their European Breeder’s Incentive for 2013. Pine View Farm will pay $1500 (US) to the Champion Colt and Champion Filly sired by Lazy Loper or Winnies Willy at the 2014 DQHA Futurity Show.
