The American Quarter Horse Association is an organization that works for its members. Now is your chance to make a difference and submit items to be considered by AQHA standing committees at the 2013 AQHA Convention March 8-11 at the Hyatt Regency in Houston.
Each spring, AQHA holds a convention to review AQHA rules and policies, and during this convention, member-submitted rule changes and suggestions are reviewed. AQHA wants to hear any suggestions you have to make AQHA membership, programs and services reach their fullest potential.
AQHA members have until December 31, 2012, to submit items for the convention. AQHA standing committees will meet at convention to consider the submitted items.
“One of the greatest freedoms we enjoy in the United States is the right to propose changes to legislation,” said AQHA Executive Vice President Don Treadway Jr. “The American Quarter Horse Association is a democracy, and AQHA members are encouraged to be active in the Association rule-change process.”
Download and complete the rule-change proposal form; there are two versions of the form available for your convenience at www.aqha.com/convention.
Log in to the AQHA Member Services area for a list of the standing committees.
Once you have completed the form, please return it via email to [email protected]. If you prefer, items may also be submitted by mail at:
