Iron Age would like to congratulate, Made Out Of Iron, and Stefanie Hohn on being awarded the best Foal at the 2012 International DQHA Championship in Aachen, Germany from October 19th – 28th, 2012. Made Out Of Iron was the 2012 Futurity Champion Weanling Stallion Early and then crowned the Champion of Champions.
“We continue to hear that the foals possess size, talent, disposition and movement,” says owner, Adria Smith. “The foals are showing tremendous promise for great things.”
As a Junior Sire, Iron Age, is already a Congress Champion and Reserve Champion, Two-time NSBA Reserve World Champion, Reichert Celebration Champion and Reserve Champion and multiple futurity producing champion sire with his oldest foal crop being two year-olds.
“As his foal crops continue to age, we are very excited to see these champions excel in multiple events,” Smith told GoHorseShow “It also highlights the sire power that Iron Age possesses as the champions are out of mares with a variety of bloodlines.”
Iron Age was tested by UC Davis for the black gene and the results were homozygous for the black gene – meaning he is unable to sire a red based foal.
Semen is available domestically and internationally throughout Europe and Australia. Iron Age is enrolled in the DQHA Futurity and is standing at Gumz Farms in Morganfield, Kentucky.
