You just can’t beat an “original.” The 2007 All-Around Classic Amateur team, Heather Lynn Meyer and Im Original (Pictured right) showed the true depth of their partnership at the 2012 APHA World Championship Show. Heather had originally planned to show another horse in the all-around race, but when that mare was sidelined after becoming cast, Heather turned to her 18-year-old veteran campaigner to carry her to the top. Im Original didn’t disappoint, winning a world championship in Classic Amateur Trail, a reserve in Classic Amateur Hunt-Seat Equitation, a third in Classic Amateur in Horsemanship and ninth in Classic Amateur Senior Western Pleasure. Heather and Im Original rose to the top of the All-Around Classic Amateur chart, clinching the title on the final day of Amateur competition.
