About The Cover
Strutin On The Range is an exceptional 15.3 hand Red Roan Stallion. “Ranger” is sired by the late, great Open Range and out of Time For Kathy. He is an outstanding show horse, winning a Reserve Championship at the 2012 Congress in Junior Western Pleasure and was the 2011 Congress Champion in Green Western Pleasure with Jay Starnes. The pair was also the Gold and Gulf Coast Circuit Champions in Junior Western Pleasure in 2012. Strutin On The Range is a Superior award earner in Western Pleasure as well.
“Ranger is definitely proven in the show pen with these impressive titles from the most competitive and prestigious classes and shows today,” according Amy Gumz, breeding manager at Gumz Farms. “He offers you a proven show record and solid pedigree for your mare. He is an outstanding individual with a super disposition. He is quiet, kind and easy going. The package is complete as he brings size, disposition, pedigree and accomplishments to the table and being roan doesn’t hurt a thing,” says Gumz.
Strutin On The Range is enrolled in the AQHA Incentive Fund and Kentucky Breeders Incentive Fund and registered in the American Roan Horse Association. He will be nominated in the Southern Belle, Tom Powers and NSBA BCF and SIF as soon as foals arrive. Struttin On The Range is proudly owned by Olivia Hoecker of Pine Meadow Quarter Horses. He is standing at Gumz Farms in Morganfield, KY.
