The Utah Zone 2 Show and Paint-O-Rama was the number won show last year and this year appears to be no different. The show had 10 judges in five days with an impressive 1152 entries for each judge–that totals 11,520 entries for the show! The event was held at the Salt Lake Equestrian Park in South Jordan, Utah surrounded by gorgeous snow-capped mountains.
“Amazing is the best way to describe this years APHA Zone 2 show and Utah Paint-O-Rama,” says Terry Dyson-Wirthlin, show manager for the show. “Class sizes were huge, competition was world show worthy and points were there for the taking.”
Wirthlin adds, “As the number one show in the nation in 2012, we are excited to say that are entries were even larger this year. Thank you to all our exhibitors, staff and volunteers for all there hard work. Can’t wait to see you all next year!”
The judges for the show included Gigi Bailey, Carrie Kessler, Jodi Finkenbinder, David Terrell, Rod Cavinder, Dave Parlier, Tim Finkenbinder, Michele Yost-Henry, Sally Jo Freund, and Mike Short.
