AQHA Corporate Partner Merial is now the title sponsor of the 2014 Merial American Quarter Horse Association Regional Championships.
The Merial AQHA Regional Championships are a way for exhibitors to test their skills in a fun and rewarding environment. Competitors have the opportunity to compete in:
- Level 1 (formerly Novice)
- Youth
- Amateur
- Select
- Open
New this year, hardship applications will not be required to compete at a Merial AQHA Regional Championship. Exhibitors may choose to compete at any show. However, a competitor can only compete at one Merial AQHA Regional Championship in 2014.
With the exception of Rookie and Level 1 classes, youth, amateur and select competitors may only show owned horses as defined in Rule SHW220 as in the 2014 AQHA Official Handbook of Rules and Regulations.
View the 2014 eligibility rules.
Farnam will be this year’s sponsor of the Novice Youth 13 & under, Novice Youth 14-18, Novice Amateur and either Amateur Select or Rookie all around awards. These all around winners will be awarded a Montana Silversmiths belt buckle.
