“The Circuit by the River show had a lot of unique and fun opportunities for exhibitors,” Amateur Tina Freeland told GoHorseShow, who went undefeated at the show in the Amateur Western Riding and Amateur Ranch Pleasure with her horse, Boston Aggravation. “There were several three and four point open classes. As an added bonus, the show paid cash money back to exhibitors who earned AQHA points, and an all inclusive fee was generously donated to the TQHA youth association and raffle tickets were on sale to win this valuable prize.”
Exhibitors were treated to free cake and ice cream on Saturday and an Easter egg hunt on Sunday. Sunday’s schedule ran quickly and smoothly and allowed people to finish showing early so they could still make it home for some Easter plans, which was a great way to end the show.
“We paid out $2500 in cash prizes and $300 in show bucks to youth and rookie exhibitors,” says Patrick Kayser, the show manager for the show. “It was a great weekend with great exhibitors, and there was an sense of community and an environment of cooperation–a lot of fun had by all.”
