NSBA is sad to share the news that Waymond Roberts, of Chatsworth, Georgia, has passed away after fighting a brave battle with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord.
Waymond and his wife Susie have raised numerous well-known horses in the Western Pleasure industry including several futurity, Congress and AQHA world champions. Their names are listed as the breeders of such horses as The Rock, Its A Good Pleasure, Gone Viral, Justa Creepin, Suddenly Best Man, Cowboysainteasytoluv, Rocked And Ready, Come N Get Ya Some, So Obviously Hot, Fashionably Invited, Sweet N Spicey Me and Baby Im Comin For U.
Roberts Quarter Horses also stands the AQHA stallions Its A Zippo Good Bar and Justa Creepin. Waymond and Susie’s nephew, Dustin Milsap, has shown several Roberts Quarter Horses bred horses to success.
