The Lopin Machine’s First Foals Make Winning Debut

The Lopin Machine’s (aka Clyde) oldest crop hit the pen at the Big A Circuit with resounding success. Livin Da Dream, owned by Jay and Kristy Starnes, was champion in the Premier Quarter Sires Yearling Longe Line, shown by Kristy Starnes and Reserve was The Lopin Illusion, owned by Rawlings Enterprises LLC and shown by Jay Starnes.

Livin Da Dream is out of Congress Masters Champion, Its Best To Be Hot and Kelby Hutchinson showed the chestnut gelding, The Lopin Illusion, who is out of A Certain Illusion – a multiple AQHA World Champion. Julie Voge prepared the yearlings.

“Both are eligible for the Tom Powers Sale Stakes 2019. We did not plan to show the yearlings at the Big A, but both were so quiet, we went ahead and showed them. It paid off, winning a combined $4,000 in the Premier Quarter Sires class. We love the willingness of all of Clyde’s foals we have worked with so far and are very excited to start them under saddle.”

The Lopin Machine’s Breeding Manager, Debbi Trubee along with Roger Landis, echoes Kristy’s sentiments. “We’re so pleased with the quality of The Lopin Machine’s foals. Clyde is stamping his babies with his natural movement and self-carriage. We can’t wait to see his babies out showing under saddle next year.”
