AQHA Superhorse & Multiple World & Congress Champion Hez Blazin Trouble Sells to Susan Wilson

New Team Alert: GoHorseShow is excited to announce that Select Amateur Susan Wilson has purchased her dream horse, Hez Blazin Trouble from Bonnie Sheren.

Another big-name horse has changed hands. This time, 2022 AQHA Superhorse and multiple AQHA World and Congress Champion Hez Blazin Trouble was sold to Select Amateur Susan Wilson of Gainesville, TX. Bonnie Sheren of Studio City, CA owned the double-registered AQHA/APHA eight-year-old gelding affectionately known as “Perfect Parker” for the past few years. This famous gelding will remain under the supervision of Highpoint Performance Horses.

“I didn’t have any plans to sell Parker, but sometimes things just seem to fall into place, and this was one of those times,” Sheren revealed. “I got a call from Jason Martin shortly before the Congress asking if I would consider selling him. I thought about it and said yes, to the right person. When Jason told me it was Susan Wilson, I knew it was the right person at the right time. Parker is a very special horse, and it has been my honor to have him. I’m so excited now to pass the reins to Susan, and I can’t wait to see what they do together.”

Both Charlie Cole and Jason Martin are excited to see this new duo join forces and become a new team.

“Parker is an amazing horse. His personality and expression and the way he points his toes in the lead change have earned him the nickname Perfect Parker,” Martin shares.”He made Bonnie’s dreams come true of making her a multiple World Champion. I’m looking forward to Parker helping Susan reach her dreams as well.”

Cole adds, “I’m excited that he was able to stay in our show string here at Highpoint with a rider that has been with us for so many years. Parker and Susan are already riding and looking very good together in the showmanship, horsemanship, and equitation as well as his open events that he has been so successful at.”

Parker’s new owner Susan Wilson definitely has a type – her former horses Knowtorious and Real Groovy were also APHA registered, red colored, and had flashy white blazes and socks. Parker fits Susan to a T. Susan says she still can’t believe she owns him now.

“I keep staring at him. I can’t believe this is real life. I’ve been obsessed with this horse since the moment I first laid eyes on him in 2019 when Jason convinced Bonnie to buy him. Now, Bonnie has graciously passed the reins to me,” Susan shared with us. “Endless gratitude to Jason Martin, Charlie Cole, Bonnie Sheren and my husband Paul Zawilenski, who has been supportive in everything I do.”

Hez Blazin Trouble was the 2022 AQHA Superhorse and was a standout in the western riding and performance halter geldings – winning both classes last year at the AQHA World Championship show. The 2015 sorrel gelding, by RL Best Of Sudden and out of Troubles A Blazin, was bred by Stanley and Susan Scott of Ocala, Florida.

In 2024, Susan and Parker will be making their debut at the Prairie Classic before heading to the Sun Circuit in March. “I’ll be showing him in everything. I jump right in and go full force. I don’t ease into anything. I don’t have that much time left to be competitive at this level. The runway is short, and there is no time to waste.”
