Annual dac® Days Educational Conference – Biggest in Company’s History

Jena Antonucci, the first female to win a Triple Crown race in the history of horse racing, headlined this year's dac® Days Educational Conference.

Last month dac® Vitamins and Minerals had their annual dac® Days Educational Conference. This year’s keynote speaker was Jena Antonucci, a dac® endorsed trainer and the first female to win a Triple Crown race in the history of horse racing.

“It’s always been called ‘dac® Days’ and held in the month of March. The intent is to educate our dealers and also hand out awards for the previous year,” says Tina Jacobs-Heil, who is in charge of sales and marketing for the company. “In the last 16 years, it’s been held at three different locations near our office in Dover, Ohio and moved only because we have grown out of each location.”

This year, it was held at The Toolshed at Breitenbach Winery in Dover, Ohio on March 22, 2024. dac® brings their staff in for team training on March 20th for two days with the conference on the 22nd. They had over 250 participants at this year’s conference with dealers that traveled from Wisconsin, Missouri, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Pennsylvania, New York, Connecticut, Maine, Tennessee, West Virginia, Virginia, Illinois, Massachusetts and Iowa.

“Our theme for the day was ‘Teams’. How we work together as a team with our manufacturers, our dealers, our customers and staff and how each plays a very important role in dac®,” Jacobs-Heil told us. “dac® Days has been my project for about ten years, and I’m proud of what it has become, but I certainly have not done it alone. It is truly teamwork, and we all have worked together to make this what it is today.”

Since 1983 Direct Action Co., Inc. (a.k.a. dac® Vitamins and Minerals) has offered superior, innovative equine and livestock supplements. Ohio Trainer and Judge Randy Jacobs bought the company in 2008. The family-run company prides itself on quality products and excellent customer service.
