MQHA Summer Shows were a Hit

Fun times were had by all at the Mississippi Quarter Horse Association Summer Shows.

Meridian, MS – Mississippi Quarter Horse Association hosted its Summer Shows on June 3 & 4 at the Lauderdale County Agri Center in Meridian, MS. The many exhibitors made for high numbers in most of the classes.

In addition to the regular show, some fun events were held. The exhibitors were treated to ice cream & popsicles on the very warm days courtesy of Down the Rail Promotions. The smaller kids participated in a sandcastle building contest sponsored by Phillips Wealth Planners of Starkville, MS, both of which were well received. We are not sure who had the most fun, the kids or adults.

Tom McBeath, President of the Mississippi Quarter Horse Association says “We are thankful to have such a great facility to host our shows. We also have a wonderful group of people as our show staff who make the shows run like clockwork, but of course, we would not have a show without all our great exhibitors and their horses.”
