AQHA Releases Level 2 Championships Ineligibility List for 2022 World Show

AQHA has published the ineligibility list for the Level 2 Championships, held in conjunction with the World Championship Shows.

The American Quarter Horse Association has released the list of open, amateur and Select amateur exhibitors who are ineligible to show horses in the Adequan® Level 2 Championship classes at the 2022 Farnam AQHA World Championship Show and Adequan® AQHA Select World Championship Show tentatively scheduled for October 27 – November 19 at the OKC Fairgrounds in Oklahoma City. Entries for the event will open online at the end of August and close September 20, with additional late entry options available through October 10.

The horsemen and -women on this list have proven their skills in the show arena and are considered highly accomplished competitors by AQHA and its alliance partners. This list is compiled by factoring in AQHA points, championship titles and alliance money earned outside of AQHA competition. Additional detailed information has been provided within the list regarding specific earnings restrictions from each alliance partner.

“Like many of our alliance partners, AQHA understands the leveling program helps create a fairer playing field for exhibitors to compete against others of similar experience,” said Justin Billings, AQHA chief show officer. “By combining alliance partner and AQHA data to group exhibitors, we can better protect the integrity and intent of the Adequan® Level 2 Championships at the Farnam AQHA and Adequan® Select World.”
