About the Cover

The always dashing Kent Ray Taylor and his three gorgeous mares are featured on the November AQHA World Show cover of GoMag. Snap It Send It (Bailee), Snippity Snap (Boo), and Not Dun Lopin (Dottie) are all showing at the World Show under the supervision of Blake Weis.

“Bailee and Boo are full sisters. They are my grey ladies,” Kent Ray told us. “I love them to death. Dottie is my red-headed wunderkind. All three of my girls have pedigree, beauty, brains, and talent. I’m so blessed and thankful to own them.”

Snap It Send It will be showing in the Open Performance Halter Mares, Junior Western Pleasure, Junior Trail, Junior Western Riding, Select Amateur Performance Halter Mares, and Select Amateur Horsemanship. Snippity Snap will be showing in the Junior Western Pleasure and Select Amateur Western Pleasure. And finally, a relatively new addition to Kent Ray’s lineup is Not Dun Lopin, who is competing in Level 1 Western Riding, Level 1 Trail, Junior Trail, and Junior Western Riding.

Kent Ray says that working with Blake has been a dream collaboration. “I can’t tell you how well we get along. We have a lot of fun and continue to grow and set new goals to achieve. The KRT motto is ‘horse first, show second.’ Our goal is to kick ass, but we are here to have fun, either way, win or lose. Take what you deserve, but give more than you should.”

Kent Ray told us some of his favorite accomplishments with his horses include Snap It Send It being named 2020 NSBA Horse of The Year. In addition, Snippity Snap has won several 10K Non-Pro and Open Maturity Western Pleasure classes at major shows this year, and Not Dun Lopin has been in the Top 3 in the Green and Junior Trail and Western Riding at every show, including the NSBA World Show and the WEC Championship Show in Ocala.

“All three girls consistently do more for me than I ever hope for, and I am blessed to own them and have Blake train them for me,” Kent Ray says. “I love my KRT family with all my heart.”

Kent Ray would like to wish everyone the best of luck at this year’s World Show and looks forward to seeing everybody in Oklahoma City.
