This premier equestrian facility is located in the Heart of the North Texas Horse Country. It is located five miles off I-35 between Denton and Gainesville at the Pilot Point exit – 45 miles to Fort Worth; 150 miles to Oklahoma City.
“It is a very functional training facility, designed entirely with the professional trainer in mind,” George Wiley, owner of the facility told us. “Everything you need and expect, without taking a lot of extra steps. Additionally, we feed, clean stalls, and keep the barns clean, so the trainers can focus on training the horses and coaching their clients.”
Over the past 20 years, Barefoot Farms has been blessed to have a handful of top-level professionals call this beautiful farm home. Every year multiple World, Congress, and NSBA Champions are won by trainers working out of this ranch.
“Over the past 20 years, the trainers who have leased from us have stayed from five to eight years,” Wiley states. “Everyone has been on a month-to-month agreement, so it is a real compliment to have that caliber of professionals over the years. We have had some reining trainers, but mostly all-around trainers.”
As of May 10th, they will have three training barns and two residences available. “That’s roughly 45 stalls coming available. That may be filled by one trainer, or two,” Wiley says.
