About the Cover

The incredibly talented three-year-old, Its Game On (Rocky) is featured on the cover of GoMag this month. Rocky is by Machine Made and out of Moonlite In Dixie.

“My trainers, Jason and Jamie English had been telling me about this horse for months. The Parrish’s started him. He was doing the western pleasure, but he got too big. I can’t believe he can go that slow because he is so big,” his owner Tali Terlizzi shared.

“I love everything about Rocky. He is sweet and in your pocket,” Tali says. “He has an extremely long neck that is steady and soft, has great expression, and is ridiculously talented.”

In January, Jamie English showed Rocky for the first time in Venice, Florida at the Fun In The Sun. He showed to nine judges and was first on all nine cards, winning the 3-Year-Old Open Hunter Under Saddle and Green Hunter Under Saddle.

This year, Its Game On will be shown in the Novice Horse/Open 3s, Green Hunter Under Saddle, and Non-Pro Three-Year-Old Hunter Under Saddle.

“He’s entered in the big slot class at the March to the Arch. We’re super excited about it,” Tali told us. “When we bought him, I told John, my fiancé, that I think he will be our first Congress Champion, so that’s my goal for this year.”

Tali is very appreciative of her trainers, Jamie and Jason English. “They have helped me reach so many goals in a year. They make an awesome team and balance each other out. We have gained some amazing friends.”

The rest of her show lineup includes Al Be Bleu, her western horse, Pinball Machine (pictured left), her home-bred two-year-old, Im Nexxt, and her most recent purchase, Heres To The Blue (Baby Stallion), a yearling stud colt she bought from Beth Case.

“Baby Stallion will be heading to Anthony Leier’s to show the longe line at NSBA and Congress,” Tali says. “Then, he hopefully will be shown by Beth Case next year. We have big plans for him to be a major asset to the breeding industry.”
