About the Cover
The cover of the December Holiday Issue of GoMag features three outstanding stallions standing at Jim and Deanna Searles’ Circle S Ranch in Scottsdale, Arizona.
“We are truly blessed with our stallion lineup this coming year – Allocate Your Assets and VS Code Blue, owned by GW and Katherine Tobin and Nothin But Nett, owned by Susan Johns,” breeding manager, Jim Searles told us. “Of course, the leader of the lineup is million dollar sire, Allocate Your Assets (Al). ‘Amazing’ and ‘proven sire’ are the best words to describe him.”
“VS Code Blue (Peyton), by RL Best Of Sudden and out of Vital Signs Are Good, is another very athletic, talented and proven sire,” Jim continues. “He was awarded the top sire money earner at the 2019 Tom Powers Futurity. Both stallions are great minded and a pleasure to work around.”
New to the lineup for 2021 is Nothin But Nett (Steph), a 2017 AQHA stallion by Machine Made and out of 2-time Congress Champion KM Hot Number. With Rusty Green aboard, this talented stallion started the year tied to win the Virginia Maiden. Last month at the AQHA World Show, he was Reserve Champion in the Three-Year-Old Versatility Challenge and the unanimous winner in the Level 1 Pleasure Stakes.
“We are excited about standing this very talented western pleasure/all-around young stallion. He is just an amazing mover with the mind and athleticism to do the other western events. He has proven himself in the western pleasure world, and now he will have the chance to prove himself in the western riding and trail events.”
The 2021 breeding fee for Allocate Your Assets is $2,500. There is an early booking discount fee of $2,250 if booked and paid in full by January 15, 2021. Foals are eligible for APHA Breeders Trust, NSBA Stallion Incentive Fund, Tom Powers Triple Challenge Futurity, and Southern Belle Futurity.
The 2018 Western Pleasure Super Sire of the Year, VS Code Blue’s breeding fee this year is $2,000 with several breeding discounts available. His foals are eligible for several futurities, including the Super Sires, NSBA BCF, Southern Belle, Tom Powers, APHA Breeders Trust, MQHA, Iowa, and Deutsche Stallion Service Futurity.
Nothin But Nett’s introductory breeding fee is $2,500. He is enrolled in the NSBA, Southern Belle, Super Sires, Tom Powers, and APHA Breeders Trust. There are several breeding discounts to Steph, including $500 off to World Champion/World Champion Producing mares and $250 off if paid in full by January 15, 2021.
“With the exceptional bloodlines of these three stallions, mare owners will have a good selection of different choices to make for their mares,” Searles states. “We are looking forward to a very promising breeding year in 2021.“
